Cook County Jury Trials - Are the Numbers in Your Favor?

A recent tally of jury trial results from 2006 to 2008 in Cook County revealed there were 405 rulings in favor of plaintiffs in personal injury cases, which was 63 percent of the trials in those types of matters. So, does that mean if you’re a plaintiff in Cook County, you should go to trial because you have a better than 50 percent chance of winning? Not necessarily.

Criminal Background Checks - What Are the Differences Between Free and Paid?

Someone has to maintain a database that is full of criminal history information, and this costs. That does not mean the fee will be large though. It might be very inexpensive. Ask up front what the fee is, for a sample report, and about refunds should you not get what you expect.
